Behind the Book: Changing Perspective
Today I’m talking about what happens when I hit a roadblock – two small ways I get out of my own head and get back to writing. It can be as simple as physically changing my location to also change my perspective, or adjusting the font size so I can reflect on the clarity and importance of each individual sentence.
What about you?
How do you get around a roadblock, in writing or in your daily work?

Font size idea is great, I’ll be trying that myself towards the end of the week once I start to run out of steam! We like to change locations for meetings for exactly the reasons you are talking about. It has proven particularly helpful when trying to think outside he square and brainstorm. Thanks for sharing 🙂
I love this idea! Changing the font size. Fantastic!
Sometimes I have to actually go walk/run or have a conversation with someone. It’s amazing how shifting where I am, what I’m focusing on, and conversing with another human can do to help me refocus and inspire new thoughts for writing.
